Following in the footsteps of his father, Dr. Mark Lazar, Dr. Jared Lazar earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Lincoln Memorial University DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine. He went on to complete his residency at St. Petersburg General Hospital before joining the team at General Practice Associates.
Dr. Lazar is dedicated to preventive medicine, focusing on the role of diet, exercise, and evidence-based care in helping patients achieve long-term health and wellness. As one of the newer physicians in the practice, he offers a fresh perspective while remaining committed to guiding patients through every stage of life with compassionate, personalized care.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Lazar enjoys staying active through hiking, pickleball, golf, and indoor rock climbing.
